Birds of the Calamianes Trading Cards

Haring Ibon, in partnership with Regalo ng Kilit Foundation, Inc., proudly presents the Haring Ibon Trading Cards – Calamianes Edition.

Inspired by the original Haring Ibon Trading Cards, this special deck highlights the birds found in the Calamianes Islands. These cards are designed to educate K-12 learners about the avian diversity in their local areas. While primarily designed for classroom use to integrate biological diversity education, these cards are also perfect for bird watchers and bird photographers visiting sites like Kingfisher Park and the Capayas Creek Kingfisher Preserve in Coron.

Another goal is to inspire communities and the local government in the Calamianes Islands to take action towards the protection, enhancement, and conservation of their unique biodiversity.

The deck features 52 cards, each with full-color photographs of birds, including their English names, scientific names, local names (when available), size, conservation status, and interesting trivia.
