WBPP is being considered to be a partner of the B+WISER Program (Biodiversity and Watershed Improved for Stronger Economy and Ecosystem Resilience), a USAID-DENR project.
The program covers 7 project sites: Luzon – Kaliwa-Marikina Watershed, Northern Sierra Madre Natural Park, Quinali “A” Watershed and subwatersheds surrounding Naujan Lake National Park; Visaya – Bago River Watershed Forest Reserve; Mindanao – Mt. Apo Natural Park and Mt. Kitanglad Range Natural Park. WBPP is being tapped to document the birds found in these sites. Program will start in January 2014.
In order to push for WBPP’s vital role in biodiversity and in the program, it is being invited by B+WISER to have a photo exhibit during the 4th ASEAN Heritage Park Diversity on October 1-4, 2013 in Tagaytay City, and during the launching of B+WISER Program within the month of October.
Here are Alain Pascua’s photo contributions to these exhibits.
