The 2015 “Philippine Birds as Art” Post Card Desk Calendar features 26 Philippine Bird Species, 21 Fine Art Photographs, 19 Birding Sites, and 14 Postcards.
Of the 26 bird species, 18 are Philippine endemics and the rest are either migrants or resident birds. Among those Philippine endemic birds, three are classified as threatened species. (See list of featured birds and birding sites at the end of the article.)
Each of the 21 fine art photographs has details that include the names of birds, range, conservation status, location and date photographed, medium and size of framed giclee prints, and number of editions. Their framed giclee prints may be purchased separately, provided the editions are still available at the time of order.
The 14 photographs are 8.5 x 5.5 inch postcards that can be sent to friends. Each one may easily be perforated or cut out for mail. The monthly calendars are printed on separate leaves. All leaves are wire-bound (double loop), with standee, and the entire desk calendar has a wrap cover. (See complete specs at the end of the article.)
